OH PLEASE SAVE THESE TREES! The “arboreal tunnel” the trees give combats air pollution giving cooler air for southern travelers. They produce more oxygen and reduce dust particles. In a way, trees can help improve road safety. Trees lining streets give the impression of narrowing the street and encourage slower driving.
CUT THE TREES! DENR said the trees are in an “advanced state of decay” and may endanger the lives of the motorists passing through the southern highway.
We need to bring development to the south thus we need to widen the road. Trees must be cut and replaced by planting more trees.
